Regional Standards

Rules & Conduct

The Federation is intended to be active, welcoming, and serious enough to build lasting institutions without becoming unnecessarily restrictive.

Core Rules

  1. Respect other members. Debate is welcome; harassment, personal attacks, and deliberate disruption are not.
  2. Act in good faith. Members entrusted with regional powers are expected to use them for the Federation, not for personal disputes.
  3. No spam or deliberate disruption. Keep regional communications useful and readable.
  4. Respect NationStates rules. All activity must remain within the rules of the NationStates platform.
  5. Diplomacy comes first. Disagreements should be handled through discussion before escalation.
  6. Regional security matters. Actions that deliberately endanger the region or abuse entrusted powers may result in removal of authority or membership.
These rules are intentionally simple. More detailed procedures can be added later as the region becomes larger and more active.
